Job Summary: Under general supervision performs a variety of semi-skilled and/or skilled tasks related to preventive maintenance, alterations and repairs of the building and equipment. Using blueprints and construction documents installs and repairs various systems, apparatus, and components of commercial property. Performs other duties as needed. Job Specifications: required. Three to five years’ previous construction and/or maintenance experience required. Mechanical, electrical maintenance experience required. California driver’s license. Must be able to read and understand plans, project and purchasing documents. Must be able to use all tools, equipment and machinery necessary for general maintenance. Must be able to operate and maintain automobile and light mechanical equipment. Must be able to work well with others under time pressure. Teamwork and cooperation in problem solving is essential. A calm and professional demeanor is expected at all times. Work requires concentration on and awareness of several tasks simultaneously.
